REQUIREMENTS FOR CHANGE OF NAME DUE TO MARRIAGE

The applicant’s Nigerian Passport should be supported with the following documents:

Photocopy of Marriage Certificate
Evidence of notification of change of name to the Police.
Publication in a National Newspaper to that effect.
Processing Fee of Canadian $20.00 (Twenty Dollars) in Money Order payable to Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa.
Enclose a self-addressed Courier envelope.

It is very necessary that you comply with the above requirements to facilitate timely action. Processing fee is not refundable.
